A rough couple weeks for Washington Huskies basketball fans was made even worse on Saturday, when ex-2017 commit Daejon Davis tweeted he would be committing to Stanford instead.
It’s one thing to lost one of the jewels of your recruiting class to a school far away like Missouri. But to lose another to an in-conference school? That’s rough.
Davis, a native of Seattle, is #44 on ESPN’s Top 100 for 2017. The 6’4 guard will be a phenomenal addition to Jerod Haase’s class which now is full.
Washington, meanwhile, finds itself with four open spots and just one commit (Jaylen Nowell).
