LEWISTON -- Temperatures were scorching Tuesday at Sacajawea Junior High School, where Washington State fought through its fourth day of preseason football drills. The heat didn't bother Mike Leach, who liked the way the team battled through the conditions. Leach also liked what he saw from the running backs, and a big day from receiver John Thompson.
