During his Cal career, running back Daniel Lasco was never really the conference's headliner. There was always someone more prolific or flashier, someone in an offense more suited to the game or a player who drew more headlines. His junior season brought him some exposure, but his injury last season pushed him to the back of the "Pac-12 running backs" conversation.
But during the NFL combine, it was Lasco who came out looking prolific and flashy, drawing himself quite a few headlines.
He broke the combine's running back record for the broad jump and led all running backs with his vertical jump, which was also the third-highest recorded by a running back at the combine.
