Breaking down UCLA's new DB targets

UCLA was aggressive last week in putting out multiple scholarship offers last week, especially at the DB position. They offered four defensive backs total including Houston (Texas) Alief Elsik safety Chris Brown, Rialto (Calif.) Carter safety Leni Toailoa, Los Angeles (Calif.) Loyola corner Myles Bryant and Upland (Calif.) corner Andrew Davis.

Analysis

Brown is a well-rounded defensive back who is scheme- and potentially position-versatile. Violent hitter. Aggressively patrols the secondary. Crashes downhill vs. run and screen game to deliver frequent big hits.
