2016 five-star prospect T.J. Leaf has decommitted from Arizona, he tells Scout. Leaf, a 6-foot-10 power forward out of El Cajon (Calif.) Foothills Christian, declined to comment further on the decommitment. Prior to committing to Arizona in mid-November, Leaf took visits to Michigan, UCLA and Florida and also entertained interest from Duke. Leaf is regarded as Scout's No. 13 overall prospect and No. 3 rated power forward in the 2016 recruiting class. Leaf played for the Compton Magic on the spring and summer circuit, but also competed with the Israeli National Team in the U18 European Championships.
