The 2015 season is officially over for the Pac-12. We kick off our season review by handing out some team-by-team grades.
OREGON STATE BEAVERS
Offense: Nobody expected great things out the Oregon State offense this season. With a new coach, new scheme, new quarterback (which became several quarterbacks), this was going to be a group that faced a great deal of adversity. And so, unlike some other teams in the conference, they didn’t underachieve. But this is a pure grading, not a grading based on expectations, so … the Beavers averaged 5.12 yards per play this season (impressively that was one-tenth of a yard more per play than Utah) but were at the bottom of the conference in nearly every offensive statistical category -- first downs, third-down conversions, fourth-down conversions, adjusted QBR.
