OTTAWA — Ottawa Senators right winger Mark Stone looms as a potential series-breaker against the Boston Bruins, but all he wanted to talk about Tuesday was the team concept.
There is plenty of merit in that.
On paper, at least before Brad Marchand jabs his stick into the ribs of a Senators player for the first time or Mark Borowiecki lowers the boom on an unsuspecting Bruin to get the competitive juices flowing in Game 1, the one thing that stands out is the Senators balance on its forward lines.
And to hear Stone, success is all about everyone doing their share, accepting a bigger or smaller role depending on the circumstances within a game or the series.
