While they'll gather Tuesday to pack their bags for the summer, the off-season has already started for the Senators, which means the work will begin in earnest on shaping a roster for training camp in September with plenty of decisions to make with entry draft set for late-June and free agency on July 1.
Battling Stage 4 colon cancer after being diagnosed last June, Senators GM Bryan Murray has remained active in his role and told reporters he'll decide at the end of the season after speaking with his family and his doctors whether he'll remain on the job or step aside to work in an advisory role.
