There will be no shortage of Ottawa Senators walking the red carpet Wednesday night at the NHL Awards in Las Vegas.
While it may be the off-season, Senators captain Erik Karlsson, goaltender Craig Anderson and general manager Pierre Dorion are all up for league honours at the awards show and the expansion draft for the Vegas Golden Knights that will be held at the T-Mobile Arena.
After one of the most successful seasons in franchise history with Ottawa advancing to the Eastern Conference final for the first time since 2007, Karlsson is a finalist for the Norris Trophy as the league’s top defenceman, Anderson is up for the Masterton Trophy and Dorion is a candidate for the general manager of the year.
