The Senators power play had some weapons last season but, ranked 22nd, it really wasn't very scary at all.
Andre (The Bear) Tourigny hopes to change that.
Tourigny was finally announced Friday as an assistant coach to Dave Cameron, whom he worked alongside behind the Team Canada bench in a pair of world junior championships.
Tourigny, who spent the last two seasons as an assistant coach for Patrick Roy in Colorado, will be in charge of the Senators power play and handle the forward lines.
"The last two years I had a chance to work on the PK, so I studied all the power plays around the league and know what's maybe a little bit tougher to defend at some point," said the 41-year-old.
