Pierre Dorion has been doing a lot of talking.
He isn’t convinced he will take any action by the time the dust settles.
Gearing up for his first entry draft in the Senators' general manager’s chair, Dorion told reporters Monday at the Canadian Tire Centre he’s held talks with several teams in front of him about the possibility of moving up in Round 1 on Friday night at the First Niagara Center in Buffalo but he says it’s a long shot at best.
Sitting at No. 12 after missing the playoffs last season, Dorion indicated he’s spoken with at least 25 GMs in the last couple of weeks, but he isn’t convinced he’ll be able to find a fit with anybody to allow him to move up and get a better draft position when it gets under way at 7 p.
