Looking for a way to instill emotion is his players, Dave Cameron planned on telling them about the hour he spent with the Canadian men's sledge hockey team Wednesday night.
The experience visibly moved the Senators coach.
Before taking questions from the media during Thursday's morning availability, Cameron spoke about the "privilege" he had of meeting the squad, which is in Ottawa preparing for a couple of tournaments.
He called it "awe inspiring" and "very humbling."
"To sit in with that group, and to see the passion in their eyes about the game of hockey "¦ it made me realize how fortunate I am, health wise, and to get paid for what I do," said Cameron.
