PITTSBURGH - Guy Boucher wants all the experience he can get for Game 7.
And, it sounds like he’ll turn to veteran centre Chris Kelly Thursday night.
As the Ottawa Senators prepare to close out the Eastern Conference against the Pittsburgh Penguins at the PPG Paints Arena, the coach confirmed rookie Colin White won’t suit up which means he’ll dress either Kelly or veteran winger Tommy Wingels.
With a victory, the Senators can move to the Stanley Cup final for the first time since 2007 but it’s going to be a difficult task trying to knock off the defending champions at home, which is why Boucher wants to a player in the lineup who has been there before and knows what it takes.
