The Senators' GM said he heard from Wikstrand's camp on the weekend in the form of another request that the defenceman be permitted to stay home and play hockey in Sweden.
Wanting the signed prospect to develop his game in North America, Murray replied no. Again.
"Same answer," Murray told members of the media at Canadian Tire Centre Tuesday. "I got a text from Mikael yesterday afternoon. I haven't answered him yet, I will today.
