Senators sign Memorial Cup winner Lindberg

Tobias Lindberg got a chance to hoist the Memorial Cup last month.

Next up, a shot at making the Ottawa Senators.

The Senators confirmed Tuesday they've signed the 19-year-old Oshawa Generals forward to an entry-level deal. He was a fourth-round pick (No. 102 overall) in 2013 and finished with 32 goals and 78 points on the club that beat Kelowna in the final last month in Quebec City.

Lindberg, 19, is a native of Stockholm, Sweden. He decided to come to North American this year to adjust the style of his game. He'll attend camp in September and is expected to push for a spot.
