RALEIGH, N.C. - The Senators will be shorthanded against the Carolina Hurricanes Friday night.
Winger Mike Hoffman went on the ice for the club’s optional skate but definitely won’t suit up against the Hurricanes at the PNC Arena while winger Mark Stone is highly doubtful as well.
Hoffman suffered a groin injury Sunday against the Winnipeg Jets while Stone is sidelined with a neck strain after getting hit by defenceman Jacob Trouba in the same game.
“It’s highly likely that we’ll have the exact same lineup as the last game,” said coach Guy Boucher Friday morning.
