Senators score four on Price to knock off Candiens

MONTREAL — On a night full of strange events and crazy bounces, the Ottawa Senators accomplished the unthinkable.

They made Montreal Canadiens goaltender Carey Price look human.

The Senators came off the ropes again and again en route to a 4-3 win over the Canadiens on Tuesday, handing Price his first regulation loss of the season and giving Montreal its first regulation home defeat of the season.

Erik Karlsson scored the winner at the 5:37 mark of the third. Karlsson’s spinerama shot, from just inside the blue line, sailed past the screen of Jean-Gabriel Pageau and caught the roof of the net over Price’s shoulder.
