There will be a lot of "told you so's" coming from those who were criticizing Senators coach Dave Cameron for having his top regular season goal scorer on the fourth line the last few weeks.
They said Mike Hoffman should again be playing Top 6 minutes with Mika Zibanejad and Bobby Ryan, and Wednesday night their wish was granted.
Now, we understand why Cameron has had Hoffman in a less significant role. And we agreed with the move, as the slippery, exciting rookie is still learning how to play at this level without the puck.
But in a very tight Game 4 against the Habs, the Senators needed to find a way to get a puck past the acclaimed best goalie in the world, and they had to throw caution to the wind in order to save their lives.
