The Senators announced today that Mike Blunden will be called up from their AHL affiliate in Binghamton.
Head coach Guy Boucher mentioned there was a forward on the team that is “banged up,” which explains the need for Blunden’s attendance. Though, the coach wouldn’t say which forward. It’s also still not determined whether or not the forward will be out for tonight’s game against the Buffalo Sabres.
Boucher says one forward is banged up ... Assumption is its Chris Neil. If Neil can't play, Blunden will play.
