Originally, that was the colour scheme Logan Brown envisioned in his mind.
The Windsor Spitfires forward, a dual Canadian-American citizen, opted to follow his heart and played for Canada at the 2014 world under-17 challenge. In the summer of 2015, he tried out for Hockey Canada’s under-18 team destined for the Memorial of Ivan Hlinka tournament.
When Canada sent Brown packing, cutting him from the squad, he had second thoughts.
In the spring of 2016, as the teams were being chosen for the world under-18 championship, Brown, who was born in Raleigh, N.
