Senators prospect Brown happy to be in American colours [Video]

PLYMOUTH, Mich. — Red, white and Brown.

Originally, that was the colour scheme Logan Brown envisioned in his mind.

The Windsor Spitfires forward, a dual Canadian-American citizen, opted to follow his heart and played for Canada at the 2014 world under-17 challenge. In the summer of 2015, he tried out for Hockey Canada’s under-18 team destined for the Memorial of Ivan Hlinka tournament.

When Canada sent Brown packing, cutting him from the squad, he had second thoughts.
