If Eugene Melnyk doesn't get a liver transplant very quickly, he's going to die.
The Senators owner has been lying in a hospital bed at Toronto General for three weeks and his condition has deteriorated considerably. It could be days, it could be weeks, but unless somebody steps forward and is a liver match, there will be a funeral.
"He's not leaving until he gets a liver transplant," said Senators president Cyril Leeder at a press conference on Thursday afternoon at Canadian Tire Centre.
