If the Senators could combine Buddy Robinson and Max McCormick into one, they would have the biggest and perhaps best power forward in the NHL.
As it is, they are left with two interesting prospects who could both see some games in Ottawa next season and well beyond.
McCormick was named the Hardest Working Player at the team's development camp, which ended with Monday's 3-on-3 scrimmage. Voting is done by all the coaches and members of management, and the winner has always gone on to play in the NHL. Mark Borowiecki is the only player to have his name on the trophy twice, while others to earn the recognition include Curtis Lazar, Mike Fisher, Robin Lehner and Jesse Winchester.
