About five minutes into the first overtime period, Mark Stone was all set up to send everyone home.
Kyle Turris had just been denied, and Stone was left holding the puck with a lot of open net staring him in the face. His shot at victory, however, was stopped by Rangers winger Jesper Fast, who made a kick save that ranks among the best of the day.
“I did have the game on my stick,” said Stone. “I got pretty good wood on it. (Fast) swung around and got a foot on it. It was an impressive play by him.
