Senators' luck runs out as Wild win in overtime

OTTAWA — The Ottawa Senators luck had to run out at some point.

Matt Dumba snuck in from the blueline to score the winning goal with 1:03 left in overtime Sunday, giving the Minnesota Wild a 2-1 victory over the Senators.

It was a well-deserved win for the Wild, who battled hard to the end despite the fatigue of playing Saturday night in Philadelphia.

It also ended the Senators perfect run in extra time. Ottawa came into the game with a 4-0 record in overtime and shootouts.

The Senators also felt the sting of a one-goal defeat.
