Senators loss to Jets a last chance to impress for many players on the bubble

WINNIPEG - The clock is ticking for the boys on the bubble at Senators camp.

And, for many, Monday night was their last chance to impress and while there was no shortage of effort what they really lacked was a little bit of scoring punch in a 4-2 loss to the Winnipeg Jets at the MTS Centre.

While Ryan Dzingel and Tom Pyatt scored on Winnipeg goalie Michael Hutchinson, it wasn’t enough as Winnipeg’s Kyle Connor scored the third period winner on the power play by beating goaltender Andrew Hammond. Nikolaj Ehlers, Mark Scheifele and Blake Wheeler also scored for the Jets.
