WINNIPEG — The Hamburglar, like many players in the Senators’ dressing room, can only look back and grimace at this regular season.
With only five games left on the schedule, it won’t be long before the Senators are packing their bags for a long summer and Andrew Hammond is among those who wishes he could have done more.
“I feel like it’s been a bit of a tale of two seasons: It started pretty well (but) in January and February I wasn’t really too happy with my game,” said Hammond before facing the Jets here Wednesday night at the MTS Centre.
