Montreal Canadiens' coach Michel Therrien had some advice for Craig Anderson Saturday: Don't poke the bear.
Asked about the spearing incident between Brandon Prust and the Senators' goalie with only 2:57 left in Friday's 5-1 Ottawa victory, Therrien told reporters at the club's practice facility in Brossard Anderson started the whole thing by sticking it to the rugged Habs' forward in the first place
"Prusty paid the price; he got poked in the ribs," said Therrien. "Problem was Anderson ended up poking the wrong guy."
At this point, it doesn't really matter who started the whole thing, the reality is Anderson was able to get a few shots of his own in before the official and some other players stepped in following the incident.
