OTTAWA — Sitting doesn’t sit well with Chris Neil.
The Senators veteran winger is scheduled to return to the lineup Tuesday night against the Buffalo Sabres after being a healthy scratch for two straight games and four of the club’s last five.
The 37-year-old Neil is just trying to make the best of what’s a very difficult situation.
“It’s tough. You want to be out there,” Neil after the morning skate. “The last two games were big wins for us and that’s all you can ask for if you’re not in is that the guys go out and get the job done.
