Senators fall to Flames in overtime

After the big change off the ice Wednesday, the Ottawa Senators followed up with a tough overtime loss Thursday.

With new president and CEO Tom Anselmi watching from above, the Senators went into the all-star break with a 3-2 overtime defeat to the Calgary Flames Thursday.

Johnny Gaudreau scored the winner, finishing off a pretty 2-on-0 break following an Erik Karlsson turnover in the neutral zone.

At least the Senators picked up a point, rallying from a 2-0 third period deficit to get something from what had been a rather listless opening two periods. The Senators are 4-0-2 in their past six games.
