PITTSBURGH — Pierre Dorion is being recognized for the club’s success this season.
The Ottawa Senators general manager was named one of the three finalists for the NHL’s GM-of-the-year award, along with Edmonton Oilers GM Peter Chiarelli, an Ottawa native, and David Poile of the Nashville Predators.
Voting for the award was done by the league’s GMs and a panel of executives, along with print and broadcast media, at the end of the second round of the playoffs. The winner will be announced during the NHL Awards on Wed., June 21, at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
