At his first NHL trade deadline as a GM, Pierre Dorion would desperately like to make some noise.
He wants to improve the Senators’ chances down the stretch and into the playoffs, yes, but he also wants to get in on the fun and have something to announce.
Right now, it looks to be a temptation Dorion must resist. With D-Day approaching, he’s better off adopting but one attitude: Go big or stay at home.
