Patrick Wiercioch has become the fifth member of the Senators to be sidelined with a head injury this season.
And, there’s no timetable for his return, either.
While winger Clarke MacArthur and goalie Andrew Hammond remain sidelined with concussions, coach Dave Cameron wouldn’t confirm the Senators defenceman has the same issue but there’s no question he suffered a head injury after getting hit by Columbus Blue Jackets’ Nick Foligno on Thursday night at home.
Winger Curtis Lazar and defenceman Marc Methot have both missed time with concussions as well this season. Losing Wiercioch, if he has one as well, is a blow.
