OTTAWA — If you held a vote, Claude Julien would probably be the landslide winner for the Senators’ vacant head coaching position.
But on Thursday, he could get a vote of confidence from the Boston Bruins.
While Senators GM Pierre Dorion is working on his list of available coaching candidates — along with those who may come available — all eyes are on the Bruins to see whether Julien is given his walking papers or returns for his 10th season behind the club’s bench.
The Bruins have called a 10 a.m. end-of-season news conference at the TD Garden with GM Don Sweeney and Julien on Thursday.
