Maybe the first star of this incredible playoff run was Dave Cameron.
Installed into the job in early-December to replace former coach Paul MacLean, there were questions on whether the 58-year-old Cameron was ready to make the next step in his coaching career but the club's head coach has shown he's got what it takes to bring the Senators to another level.
Sure, next year will arrive with expectations after the Senators made the playoffs in the first place and lost in six games to the Montreal Canadiens in Round 1, but there's plenty of excitement given the way Cameron was able to rally the troops and make smart coaching moves as well.
