TORONTO — Derick Brassard finally hit double digits and the Ottawa Senators have moved to within two points of the Atlantic Division lead.
In a game full of wild momentum shifts Saturday, the Senators defeated the Toronto Maple Leafs 6-3 to win the latest crazy installment of the Battle of Ontario.
Brassard scored the winner — his 10th of the season — on a power play at the 6:26 mark of the third period.
Brassard was in the right place at the right time, finding a loose puck in the crease and jamming it past Maple Leafs goaltender Frederik Andersen.
