The Senators are calling on all collectors to give them a hand.
As they prepare to celebrate their 25th anniversary next season, the Senators held a news conference at the Canadian Tire Centre Tuesday to invite people with any memorabilia that will celebrate Ottawa’s rich hockey history to come forward to either donate or lend their items to the cause.
Ideally, the Senators want items that have “meaningful significance” to the history of the sport in the area. Fans are being asked to take a picture of the item, fill out a form and send it in electronically.
