Senators' Anderson sidelined by lower-body injury

As the Senators stepped on the ice for their morning skate Tuesday, Craig Anderson was noticeable by his absence.

The Senators' top goaltender — who set a franchise record with 14 saves in his 147th career victory with Ottawa Saturday in a 4-2 win over the Colorado Avalanche in Denver to move ahead of Patrick Lalime — is out with a lower-body injury.

Coach Guy Boucher told reporters the ailment flared up after the game in Colorado but didn’t provide any further updates. There is no timetable for his return.

Backup Mike Condon was scheduled to make the start against the Lightning.
