The Ottawa Senators have announced that they have come to terms with minor-league right-handed defenceman Patrick Mullen. Mullen, 29, agreed to a one-year, two-way contract that pays $600,000 in the NHL and $150,000 in the AHL. Mullen originally joined the Senators organization at the trade deadline in 2013-14 from the Canucks in exchange for Jeff Costello. That season, he scored one goal and 11 assists in 20 games with the B-Sens. This year he scored five goals and 24 assists in 54 games with the B-Sens. He also had two assists in Binghamton's four playoff games last season.
