Mike Condon‘s disappointing tenure with the Ottawa Senators is over, with the veteran goalie now having a chance to backup Andrei Vasilevskiy.
The Senators, who also sent a 2020 sixth round pick, received a fifth round pick in 2020 as well as the final year of Ryan Callahan‘s contract.
Condon had a positive start to his time playing in the Canadian capital, registering a 19-14-6 record with a goal against average of 2.50 and a save percentage of .914, but he was unable to replicate this over the next two seasons.
