The Ottawa Senators haven't wasted any time getting to work.
A day after GM Pierre Dorion and coach Guy Boucher wrapped up the season at the Canadian Tire Centre, the club signed prospect defenceman Christian Jaros to a three-year entry-level deal Tuesday.
Jaros, 21, who spent last season with Lulea HF in the Swedish Elite League, was a fifth-round selection in the 2015 NHL entry draft.
He will join the club for development club next month and is expected to suit up for the club's AHL affiliate in Belleville next season.
Born in Slovakia, Jaros suited up for his country twice at the world junior championship.
