Some new faces stood out this week. As the trade deadline approaches, we hope (and expect) that this trend will continue. Onto the numbers!

Logan Brown continues to thrive on the Kitchener Rangers. Brown had three points and 12 shots in three games this week, and is currently fifth in the OHL in points-per-game (1.64). Top-six forwards in the NHL usually score above 1.5 PPG in their final season, and both Brown and Aaron Luchuk (1.67) are above that mark currently. Brown’s 3.68 shots per game is higher than everyone ranked above him other than Luchuk, showing that although Brown’s more of a playmaker, he’s been getting opportunities to fire pucks on net.
