Time is precious so the Senators aren't wasting any.
Only six days into training camp, the Senators decided to get down to business and while there were no formal cuts announced a message was sent as 25 players took the ice at the Canadian Tire Centre Tuesday morning in a group that will essentially make up the roster this season.
As GM Bryan Murray was keeping an eye in the stands with assistant GM Pierre Dorion, the Senators had five lines, eight defencemen along with two goalies which means if they start with an extra player at each position then those sent down at the end will be the first called up from Binghamton.
