The Senators are hopeful they'll be awarded an outdoor game in 2017.
But holding it at Lansdowne Live might not be the only option.
As Senators president Cyril Leeder wrapped up a tour of the new facilities for the 2015-16 season at the Canadian Tire Centre Tuesday, he indicated the club is looking at more options than just the stadium at Lansdowne to face off against the Montreal Canadiens in a Heritage Classic.
Ottawa is expected to host the Grey Cup in 2017 and the possibility of leaving the stands up following the event to a host an outdoor game has been discussed.
