DENVER - The decision to start Craig Anderson for the second night in a row was not as easy as it would seem.
Ultimately, Dave Cameron went "with the goalie who gives you the best chance to win the game," but at the same time the Senators coach knows that running his No. 1 goalie too hard against a Western Conference opponent in November increases the risk of having him break down or wear down in February, March and April -- making him unavailable for potential must-win games against Eastern Conference rivals.
Could this be the first time in five years Anderson remains healthy for the entire second half of the season?
