Curtis Lazar has learned a few moves since he arrived in the NHL.
Perhaps, the best one he made was off the ice, and it turns out a good deed can bring good karma.
Struggling to score before the Senators faced their arch-rival Toronto Maple Leafs in the latest round of the Battle of Ontario, Lazar revealed he decided to follow in the footsteps of Mark Stone to lend a helping hand that may have led to his two-goal performance in a 6-1 victory.
“Mark is giving me a hard time (about telling the story),” said Lazar, who first told the story on national TV after the second period.
