NEW YORK - The status quo will remain for the Ottawa Senators.
Coach Guy Boucher told reporters Tuesday morning he isn't making any changes for Game 3 of the Eastern Conference semifinal against the New York Rangers at Madison Square Garden. The Senators lead the series 2-0.
Coming off a 6-5 double-overtime victory in Game 2 Saturday at home, Boucher wants his team to play better but doesn't feel the need to make any changes. That means forward Tom Pyatt and defenceman Chris Wideman will both be scratched for this one.
Boucher said the Senators have to be ready for the level of desperation the Rangers are going to bring.
