There will be no rest for Mike Condon.
He won’t be sitting on the bench Thursday against the Pittsburgh Penguins and it doesn’t sound like he’ll be getting a break any time soon.
The Senators goaltender will make his eighth straight start and 17th straight appearance in the club’s net with his former Pittsburgh teammates in town at the Canadian Tire Centre.
The last time Condon didn’t play was on Nov. 29 at home vs. the Buffalo Sabres.
“I don’t know but I don’t think, consecutive, I’ve made this many straight appearances,” Condon said Wednesday.
