Back to Craig Anderson.
As the Senators prepare to face the New York Rangers Saturday afternoon the Canadian Tire Centre at 1 p.m., coach Dave Cameron has elected to go back to the club’s No. 1 goalie ahead of Andrew (The Hamburglar) Hammond.
Really, this shouldn’t come as any surprise. Though Hammond made 33 saves in a 3-2 victory over the Canucks on Thursday night, he played in large part because Anderson had a terrible lifetime record against Vancouver.
On another front, the Senators aren’t sure if they’re going to have defenceman Jared Cowen in the lineup.
