On Boxing Day, the Senators went back to work to get ready for the difficult fight for a playoff spot that lays ahead.
The Senators' three-day holiday break came to an end at 5 p.m. Saturday when coach Dave Cameron blew his whistle at the Canadian Tire Centre to begin preparations for Sunday's visit by the Boston Bruins to start a home-and-home series that continues Tuesday in Beantown.
With only two wins in their last seven games, Cameron is hopeful they'll be able to make steps in the right direction and that's why he had them on the ice for a rare evening skate.
