PITTSBURGH - The highest office on Parliament Hill has thrown its support behind the Ottawa Senators.
Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, behind enemy lines in the Battle of Ontario while speaking to reporters at a factory in Toronto Friday, indicated he’ll be cheering for the Senators - the last Canadian team standing - when they open the East final against the Pittsburgh Penguins Saturday night at the PPG Paints Arena.
A massive fan of the Montreal Canadiens, Trudeau is willing to put his allegience to his team aside for a couple of weeks to support Ottawa and he thinks everybody across the country should as well.
